We stayed for four days and had our wedding celebration at Margetts Hill Barn and Cottage. It was the most fantastic venue. Helen and her team couldn’t have done more to help us. We had both the barn and cottage. Everything was absolutely spotless. The house and view exceeded all our expectations - we couldn’t have asked for more. We will absolutely be back!

In a chaotic world that we live in, it was great to get away to a place free from disturbance. It was such a pleasure being at such a beautiful property. The host provides all that you needed and more, in fine detail. Be sure to be a detective, explore the facilities in and around the property before you settle as they have Pleasant hidden gems on the grounds Everything was to hand, we wanted for nothing A real home from home! Many games available for all ages. The teenagers loved the games barn and the babies loved the basket of qqtoys provided! Helen insured we had clear instructions on how to get to the property prior to the visit. Regular messages to check in on us and both helpful and reassuring though away on there own holiday. All round amazing place a wonderful host...a real hidden gem.

What an amazing stay! I hired the barn and cottage for a family celebration. Both are finished incredibly well and there is nothing you could think of that wasn’t there! The setting and view is amazing and such a fab place for a celebration/get together! Everyone who stayed would recommend and all would stay again!

This Cotswolds cottage is idyllic. Just perfect. Amazing location. Beautifully quiet. An well appointed house and perfectly clean. It’s nicely nestled away from everything with stunning views of the local area. Great walks are on the doorstep. And a good pub, gin distillery, restaurant or farm shop are never far away. There’s loads to do locally. Just as long as you can pull yourself away from the tranquility of the cottage.

Helens cottage is set in the most beautiful surroundings, allowing you to relax in complete peace. The cottage is beautiful inside making for an enjoyable stay, the little touches of cake and wine on arrival was a lovely surprise. We would definitely recommend this place

A SUPERB Airbnb - we will be back! This property is even more stunning than it looks in the pictures. If you are looking for a modern, spacious and well equipped house and cottage then you have found it. The very comfortable living room and incredibly well equipped kitchen sits 14 adults with ease. The games room provides a fun space to wind down or enjoy a drink or play a round of pool. The bedrooms (all with access to bathrooms) are all well proportioned, clean and comfortable. The outside seating area offers one of the most stunning views of the Cotswold's I've ever seen. I thoroughly recommend lighting the firepit and enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine. Helen and team are responsive, flexible, helpful and a joy to communicate with. They went out of their way to meet any requirement we had. Thank you, Helen, for a simply perfect weekend.

This is a true gem in the Cotswolds. One of the best views you will find, and an just an incredible property. Lots to do nearby, but you’ll just want to spend time at the barn as there’s loads to do right there. A fantastic welcome hamper and Helen is the best and most helpful owner we’ve had on Airbnb. We had catering from Jayne on a couple of occasions which was brilliant too. A perfect stay - no one wanted to go home!

This was a last minute booking to celebrate my retirement, a bit rushed on a friday afternoon, but the speed of the communication was professional as well as having a personal touch right down to the directions to the property. I know people who are considering going down the 'airbnb' route as a business venture. Their money would be well spent on booking this property for a weekend to get a 'masterclass' in how to do it! personally i could not rent this property out, i'd want it all to myself. Secluded but still conveniently placed for exploring the area wether on foot or by car. Spacious enough for us four adults to have our own space whilst still have a 'cosy cottage' feel. All in all, a lot of work and consideration has gone into this cottage, a credit to Helen, Good work!

A truly beautiful converted barn and cottage with fantastic amenities and a lovely view. We wanted for nothing. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated too, putting some groceries we brought with us to shame. Highly recommended.

Booked this amazing house for a friends 30th and it did not disappoint. Bedrooms are all lovely clean and comfortable beds. Kitchen is well stocked with lots of cooking utensils. The living room is super cosy we loved sitting round the fire. The games room is just amazing, it’s got everything you need. We did a lovely walk round by the house was lovely to be able to put our wellies on and have a nice walk from the house. Would definitely recommend staying here the house is perfect for any friends or family gathering.

From the initial communication with Helen this house is truly amazing. The views over the countryside are exceptional as are the facilities in the house. Helen's attention to detail is second to none with excellent recommendations of local pubs and walks. The barn is beautifully decorated with lots of wonderful touches to make the stay even more special. Even with a gale blowing outside and the rain pouring down sitting around the wood burner was cosy. Caroline her housekeeper met us and gave us a guided tour of the house which was extremely helpful as was the welcome pack with a beautiful home made cake and local touches. Jayne was the caterer recommended by Helen who went above and beyond to make out anniversary and birthday celebration very special, her food and baking was exceptional. The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics that you would require even down to tonic for that first G&T. As a group of four families all of us cannot wait to return to this beautiful house.

Everything about the barn surpassed our expectations. The cleanliness, the view, the quality of the amenities on offer, everything! The barn was stocked with games and activities, with something available for everyone. The view from the garden is breathtaking. We made the most of it whilst we sat around the fire pit as the sun set over the hills. Helen and her team offer a real top quality level of service & accommodation - 10/10. We made some great memories during our stay and are already talking about arranging a return visit
